Community Catalyst Grants (CCG)

Program supports neighborhood-based partner organizations in historically disinvested areas

  • The City of Baltimore launched the Community Catalyst Grants Program (CCG) to support locally driven community development work. CCG is a competitive awards program that has provided capital funds and operating funds for community-driven revitalization efforts since 2018.

Eligible organizations include community development corporations, neighborhood-based development organizations, umbrella organizations and other neighborhood-based organizations. Eligible projects support locally-driven revitalization initiatives and help advance neighborhood revitalization and transformation.

New! CCG Round 5 – 2025

The Department of Housing & Community Development (DHCD) announces the next Community Catalyst Grants (CCG) funding round.  Through this Notice of Funding Availability (the “NOFA”), the Baltimore City Department of Housing and Community Development (“DHCD”) is making up to $2 Million Dollars in Capital funding available.   The application portal opened on August 18, 2025, at 12:01 AM ET and applications are due by October 3, 2025, at 5:00 PM ET.
