Community Catalyst Grants
Program supports neighborhood-based partner organizations in historically disinvested areas
In 2018, the City of Baltimore launched the Community Catalyst Grants Program (CCG) to support locally driven community development work. CCG is a competitive awards program. The program has provided capital funds and operating funds for community-driven revitalization efforts.
Eligible organizations include community development corporations, neighborhood-based development organizations, umbrella organizations and other neighborhood-based organizations. Eligible projects support locally-driven revitalization initiatives and help advance neighborhood revitalization and transformation.
In 2022, DHCD is making $2.8 million available in capital grants and $1.9 million available in operating grants for projects that are critical to locally-driven community revitalization projects and support DHCD’s “Framework for Community Development.” Please see information about Round 3 CCG Grants below.
