LIGHT Intake & Assessment Unit
LIGHT assists Baltimore City residents in obtaining and coordinating the delivery of a variety of no- and low-cost services to help them become more self-sufficient, safer, more stable and healthier in their homes.
LIGHT Coordinators conduct assessments and screen clients for a range of needs and then match client needs and eligibility with available services, including but not limited to:
- Energy-efficiency/weatherization
- Home rehabilitation
- Lead hazard reduction
- Fall/injury prevention
- Asthma reduction
- Tax credits
- Employment assistance
- Health care access
- Financial benefits
Services are provided by Baltimore City agencies as well as outside organizations.
