DHCD Seeking Developer Interest in Several City-Owned Properties
Monday Apr 18th, 2022
Baltimore, MD – Baltimore City’s Department of Housing & Community Development (DHCD) has issued a call for an expression of interest (EOI) to develop several city-owned properties. DHCD is seeking submissions from experienced developers for six strategic locations – two are vacant lots.
The City aims to continue ongoing, large-scale revitalization efforts through promoting properties in locations that are primed for redevelopment. Additionally, the City seeks to determine potential re-use opportunities for these sites. Through the EOI process, the City will establish a list of interested, qualified firms, which could lead to the issuing of a Request for Proposals. The City utilizes the EOI process as a streamed-lined, cost-effective way to measure developer interest in various City-owned properties.
The following properties are included in the current EOI:
- 1 S. High Street
- 201 N. Bend Road
- 517-527 N. Gilmor Street Bundle
- 526-532 N. Gilmor Street Bundle
- 2333 E. Chase Street (Vacant Land)
- 5837 Belair Road (Vacant Land)
The deadline to submit an EOI for the listed properties is Thursday, June 16, by 11:59 p.m. (EST). DHCD is hosting a virtual pre-submission conference on Tuesday, April 26, at 5 p.m. Learn more.
