The Poppleton Community recently came together with Mayor Catherine E. Pugh, DHCD Commissioner Michael Braverman, City officials, and other prominent guests to celebrate the grand opening of Center\West.

Located near the University of Maryland, Baltimore, Center\West is leasing 262 apartments starting this month.  When the project is fully completed it will house 2,853. Approximately 20 percent of the rentals will be affordable housing for low-income, workforce tenants. Additionally, the complex, built by La Cite Development LLC, will feature 250,000 square feet of commercial space and secured parking. 

The complex, financed by Key Bank, is located at 101 N. Schroeder St.
