Maryland Public Information Act Requests

The Public Information Officer processes all Maryland Public Information Act (MPIA) requests.  Kevin Nash serves as the Public Information Officer for the Baltimore City Department of Housing & Community Development.  He is located at 417 East Fayette Street, 14th Floor, Baltimore, MD 21202, and may be contacted via email or at 410-396-4707.

Please complete an MPIA REQUEST FORM to request copies of records.

Please Note:  If your request involves a search for any outstanding violations, a Lien Certificate must be applied for through an application process.  The application (click here to print out an application form if you want to mail in your payment or go to http://cityservices.baltimorecity.gov/LIEN/ if you would like to submit it electronically) must be completed and submitted along with your payment.


All media MPIA requests regarding DHCD programming and services must go through the Communications Department. Program-level staff are not authorized to speak with the media on behalf of DHCD without prior approval from Communications
