Stephanie Murdock joined the Department of Housing & Community Development in 2019. The Baltimore native comes to the Agency from the Office of Baltimore City Councilwoman Mary Pat Clarke where she was the Legislative Director. She has expertise in housing legislative topics such as Source of Income; Auditing and Best Practices; Urban Renewal Plans and Amendments; Transform Baltimore; Vacancy Inspections; and more. As the Legislative Liaison, Ms. Murdock researches, analyzes, drafts, and tracks legislation as it moves through the review process. She also provides constituent services to elected officials on behalf of the Agency. Ms. Murdock earned her master’s degree in political management from The George Washington University and her bachelor’s degree in political science and communications from Towson University.
