DHCD Spirit Week - September 18 - 22

Spirit Week Kicks Off at 8:30 am with Virtual Welcome from Commissioner Alice Kennedy
Virtual Background Contest launches
- Learn How to create a virtual background
- Employees can display background during meetings or upload best background to dhcd.spirit@baltimorecity.gov
- A committee will vote on the best background
Photo Scavenger Hunt Kicks Off - Download list of items HERE
- Employees can upload images throughout the week to dhcd.spirit@baltimorecity.gov
- Submissions close on Thursday at 4pm
- Commissioner Kennedy will announce a winner at the agencywide event on Friday
- All images also will be uploaded for viewing - (stay tuned for a site to view all photos)

ACTIVITY - Agencywide Flash Mob Photo - In-Person Event - 12:30 pm - War Memorial Plaza
- Employees represent the agency by wearing DHCD colors (see DHCD logo for color options)
- Group photo will be taken with City Hall as the background

ACTIVITY - Bowtie Day and Video Clips - In-Person - 12 - 2 pm
- Employees may drop by the Benton Building - 14th Floor - from 12-2 pm for photos in your Bowtie
- Employees may also record a 30-60 second video clip of "Why You Do This Work"
- Virtual employees can upload a bowtie photo or 30-60 second video clip of why you do this work. Send to dhcd.spirit@baltimorecity.gov

ACTIVITY - Scavenger Hunt Concludes
- Photos are due by CoB on September 21st
- Submit all photos to dhcd.spirit@baltimorecity.gov
- Criteria - if employee is working with a group, at least 1-team member should be in the photo(s)

ACTIVITY - Agencywide Spirit Week Event
- Druid Hill Park - Columbus Pavilion 1:30-4:30
- Training and team building exercises
- Light snacks - water, soda, ice-tea, fruit, popcorn and cotton candy
